The RAIRU story is a testament to the power of collaboration and dedication. It began 25 years ago in Vidzeme, when two families combined their knowledge, strength, and resources to do what they do best – care for Latvia’s forests. We aim to ensure the forest grows strong and healthy while people responsibly and wisely harness its full potential.
On November 10th, 1999, two friends, Kaspars Raipalis and Juris Rudītis, founded RAIRU. Since then, it has grown into one of the leading companies in the forestry sector and has set an example for many others. Today, RAIRU employs over 120 people, and what we create together is more than just work — it’s our passion.
