Our roots are in the forests of Vidzeme
RAIRU’s story started 25 years ago in Northern Vidzeme, when two families pooled their knowledge, forces and funds to do that which they do best – caring for Latvia’s forests. Our goal is for the forest to grow strong and healthy and for the people to leverage the potential of the forest respectfully and intelligently.
On 10th of November 1999, two friends Kaspars Raipalis and Juris Rudītis founded a company named RAIRU. Over the course of time, it has grown into one of the forestry sector leaders and has become an exemplar for many others. The company employs over 120 employees, and our joint creations are not just work, but our passion.
